Wearing the Beaver uniform is all part and parcel of coming to Beavers. However it can be a little confusing as to where all the badges go. Below is a simple diagram to show you the positioning of your badges. If you are new to Scouting, you will receive your core badges & necker when you get invested, which is generally 4/5 weeks after starting. The rest of the badges you have to earn through the years in which you are a Beaver.

Beaver Badges

There is a range of badges and awards available to Beavers through their time in the Colony.

Activity badges

Many of the badges available are activity badges, which allow Scouts to show their progress in existing pursuits, but also to try all kinds of new things and form new interests.
